Room temperature curable organopolysiloxane composition.

An organopolysiloxane which cures at room temperature and made from (A) organopolysiloxane terminated with hydroxyl groups, alkoxy groups, or alkoxysilyl alkenyl groups, (B) alkoxysilane, (C) titanium catalyst, and (D) a basic compound containing nitrogen having a vapor pressure of at least 10<-><5> mm Hg is useful in electrical and electronic applications. These compositions do not exhibit the conductive failures which occur at electric switch contacts in electrical and electronic devices in which organopolysiloxane materials are used.
