PURPOSE:To improve repetitive characteristics of recording and erasing with the optical information recording medium which execute recording and erasing of information by providing a diffusion preventive layer and a reflecting layer successively on the recording layer thereof. CONSTITUTION:A dielectric layer 5 consisting of SiO2 and having 60nm thickness, the recording layer 2 consisting of an alloy having the compsn. Sb19Te47 Ge34 and having 40nm thickness, the diffusion preventive layer 3 consisting of SiO2 and having 15nm thickness and the reflecting layer 4 consisting of Sb and having 30nm thickness are formed successively by a sputtering method on a grooved polycarbonate resin substrate 1 having 1.2mm thickness. Further, a protective coat layer 6 consisting of a UV-curing resin is provided on the reflecting layer 4. The repetitive characteristics of recording and erasing are improved in this way. |
