PURPOSE:To obtain a compact image display device which can be easily controlled and can display image in multicolor by displaying plural color images produced by means of a coloring plate through an electrostatic image formed by developer and a transparent part written in a thermosensitive recording medium. CONSTITUTION:The back side of a recording medium 3 is coated with the thermosensitive recording medium 33 which reversibly becomes transparent or muddy by heat. A record control part 6 impresses a voltage corresponding to image information on a heat recording head 22 and heat corresponding to the information is applied to the thermosensitive recording medium 33. Transparent image information is written in the thermosensitive recording medium 33 and displayed as color images produced by the coloring plate 21. Thus, the compact image display device can be obtained which can be easily controlled and can display images in multicolor. |
