PURPOSE:To reduce shutdown frequency of the device and improve operation rate thereof by continuing manufacture for a plurality of cycles in case where the detected error does not require momentary shutdown and shutting down the device for the first time when the error is not eliminated during the continued manufacture. CONSTITUTION:When a terminal 411 to be press-bonded is not supplied to the position directly under the pressing plate 413, the pressing plate 413 oscillates downward about a blanket 414 as the center to switch a limit switch 412, and it is detected that the stock of the terminal 411 to be press-bonded is only the terminal 411 existing between the pressing plate 413 and a clipper 405. When 'terminal exhaustion' is detected by terminal exhaustion detecting means 450, the manufacture of harness is continuously repeated while the terminal 411 exists between the pressing plate 413 and the clipper 405 and all the terminals 411 are treated by press-bonding. On the other hand, when there is no terminal 411 between the pressing plate 413 and the clipper 405 and no terminal 411 to be treated by press-bonding, the harness manufacturing device is shut down. |
