PURPOSE:To obtain the title material which is capable of rapidly processing the material, and has the high sensitivity and image quality by incorporating a specified silver halide emulsion in the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide emulsion is prepared by forming a silver halide particle by adding a water-soluble silver salt solution and a water-soluble halide solution in a solution contg. a protective colloid, and then flocculating the silver halide particle and the protective colloid by adding a flocculating polymer in the emulsion contg. the silver halide particle and further removing an obtd. dissolved matter from the emulsion. The photosensitive material contains the silver halide emulsion satisfied at least one of the following conditions, namely, the temp. of the emulsion contg. the silver halide particle is >=30 deg.C at the time of adding the flocculating polymer to the emulsion, the pH of the emulsion is >=2, and the pAg of the emulsion is >=5, or the concn. of the emulsion is >=20%. Thus, the photosensitive material which has the high sensitivity, and does not generate the deterioration of the picture due to a roll mark and is capable of being obtained the excellent image quality, is obtd. |
