PURPOSE:To improve reliability, to reduce cost and to lighten and miniaturize a device by providing a band compression means for a coder and providing a recording and reproducing means which records and reproduces a compression signal by means of the coder. CONSTITUTION:The coder 42 has the band compression means 56, and the recording and reproducing means 44 which records and reproduces the compression signal by the coder 42 is provided. Namely, the recording and reproducing means 44 records the compression signal by the coder 42 and therefore the recording and reproducing means 44 does not need to execute a compression processing by itself. The band is eliminated from being expanded in a non- compressed state in an input level for the recording and reproducing means 44. Thus, a processing related on compression and expansion is simplified and constitution is simplified and miniaturized. |
