EXTERIOR COATING PROCESS OF CAPACITOR

PURPOSE:To miniaturize chip film capacitors for enabling them to be manufactured at a low cost by a method wherein laminated layer type capacitor elements are arranged on a UV curing resin coated on a holder with their cut off surfaces brought into contact with the resin. CONSTITUTION:A holder 1 is coated with the UV curing resin 2 as an exterior member and them laminated layer type film capacitor element 3 are arranged on said UV curing resin 2 with their cut off surfaces 4, 7 brought into contact with the resin 2. Next, said UV curing resin 2 set by UV irradiation is released from the interface with the holder 1 to form the laminated layer type film capacitor element 3 with the UV resin coating 6. For example, the UV curing resin 2 is formed on the UV transmissible film sheet 1 and then the capacitor elements 3 are fixed to the resin film 2 with their side cut off surface 4 brought into contact with the resin film 2 which is irradiated with UV ray by a UV ray lamp 5 to cure the resin film 2. Finally, the other side cut off surface 7 is processed likewise.
