PURPOSE:To select flickering of visual field illuminating light, a projection to a fixed target, and cut-off of the center part of the illuminating light by only operating a control by providing a fully closed part for cutting off entirely the illuminating light and a pin hole part for allowing a part thereof to transmit through, on a travelling screen which is provided so that it can move forward and backward by intersecting an optical path of the illuminating light. CONSTITUTION:When a travelling screen 15 draws back to the outside of optical path of the illuminating light, or a fully opened part 24 is selected, the whole microscope visual field is illuminated. Subsequently, when a fully closed part 23 of the travelling screen 15 is interposed in an optical path of the illuminating light, the illuminating light is cut off. Also, when a pin hole part 22 is interposed in the optical path of the illuminating light, the illuminating light is limited thinly in only the center part, therefore, it can be used as a fixed target, and by allowing a person to be operated upon to gaze at it, the center point of the surface of an eyeball can be known. Since the selection of these use states can be realized by moving the single travelling screen 15, its structure is extremely simple. In such a way, by only operating a control, such a microscope can be switched to a fully closed state and a fully opened state, and a fixed target projection and a partial illumination can be selected. |
