PURPOSE:To improve yield and efficiency of the subject lysine useful for pharmaceuticals, etc., by subjecting to enzyme reaction in aqueous solution containing glucose in the presence of microorganism belonging to specific bacterium of coryneform. CONSTITUTION:An enzyme reaction is performed in an aqueous solution containing glucose (preferably completely synthesized medium) in the presence of cell of microorganism having biotin-demanding property and resistance to S-(2-aminoethyl)-L-(-)cysteine and belonging to bacterium of coryneform, then the aimed L-lysine is generated and collected. |
