摘要 PURPOSE:To keep the friction element engaging time constant by correcting so as to provide high oil pressure at the time of high oil temp., and so as to provide high oil pressure at the time of large centrifugal force on a spherical valve body, which closes a runoff passage upon receiving supplied oil pressure to a working oil chamber. CONSTITUTION:As a control unit U supplies a large oil pressure once to a working oil chamber 46 through a pressure regulating valve 63 when a 3-4 clutch 27 is to be engaged, a spherical valve body 50 closes a runoff passage 49 upon receiving the oil pressure, and the supplied oil pressure to the working oil chamber 46 can be controlled certainly to the desired value. When speed change is started, the closing speed by the spherical valve body 50 is quickened under control by another pressure regulating valve 65, wherein the closing timing depends upon the oil temp. and the centrifugal force generated on the spherical valve body 50, so that No.2 control unit corrects the line pressure increasing with the oil temp. or with engine revolving speed. This keeps the friction element engaging time constant.
