NOVEL FIBRINOLYTIC AGENT AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE:To enable the production of a novel glycosylated plasminogen- activation factor having long half-life in blood by carrying out a gene manipulation operation using a specific DNA. CONSTITUTION:A DNA coding an amino acid sequence of formula [R is NH2- GLY-ALA-ARG (NH2- is amino terminal) or NH2;-COOH is carboxy terminal] is linked with a sequence of a promoter region of other gene funcioning in a cultured animal cell and the product is used in the transformation of a host cell. The cell produced by the above process is preferably NV401 stain (FERM 1792). The objective factor can be produced by the culture of said cell.
