PURPOSE:To start an engine rapidly and surely by providing a carburetor starting pipe in a discharge chamber separating from a discharge pipe and installing an exit valve for starting in the discharge chamber side of this carburetor starting pipe. CONSTITUTION:A discharge pipe 22 connected to respective carburetors 32a, 32b, 32c and a carburetor starting pipe 23 are connected separately and respectively to the discharge chamber 15 of a fuel pump 11. In the discharge chamber 15 side of the carburetor starting pipe 23, an exit valve for starting, for example a needle valve 19, is provided, which is opened/closed by a solenoid 20. Therefore, when the exit valve for starting is opened in an engine start, the fuel in the discharge chamber of the fuel pump can be supplied to the carburetor through the carburetor starting pipe under the prescribed pressure and an engine can be started rapidly and surely. |
