The invention relates to a slippage-limiter for a differential gear for the traction and steering axle of a vehicle or a working machine, in which at both ends of the axle there are wheel hubs 1 present, which can be swivelled about the swivel axles A-A, which, through the agency of double universal joints 6 and the wheel axles 13a, 13b, are coupled to the differential gear 10, which is provided with at least one multi-disc friction clutch 18a, 18b, the clutch discs of which are pressed together by the force of a spring 20a, 20b to produce a slippage- limiting torque and to even out the rotation speed differences in the wheel axles 13a, 13b. At least one of the wheel axles 13a, 13b is coupled to act upon the spring 20a, 20b pressing the friction clutch 18a, 18b in such a way that the compression force of the spring 20a, 20b and the slippage-limiting torque generated by this in the clutch 18a, 18b are dependent upon the axial motion of the said wheel axle 13a, 13b. <IMAGE> |
