GROUP CONTROL TYPE ELEVATOR AND GROUP CONTROL METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR

PURPOSE: To improve operation efficiency by making a car assigned to an upper group cope with an up hall call from the midway floor in a lower group during the up-peak period and a car above the floor cope with an up hall call from the upper group. CONSTITUTION: A group controller 32 divides the floors of a building for operating plural cars 1 to 4 into plural sectors SN1 to SN3 during the up-peak period. A car assigned or assignable to an upper group is made to cope with an up hall call generated in a lower group (sectors) except for a lobby. A car assigned/ assignable to the upper sector containing the floor is made to cope with an up hall call in the upper group floors (the 6 to 9 floors) so as to be selected from cars satisfying a criterion to thus improve operation efficiency as well as to reduce waiting time of passengers in the lobby.
