PURPOSE:To perform good recording operation by holding the ink supplied into a recording head to proper temperature by cooling the ink in an ink supply pipe. CONSTITUTION:As a blower 15, any one capable of generating an air cooling state necessary for holding the temp. of the ink in a recording head 1 to a range suitable for recording can be utilized without limiting the same, for example, to one using a rotary blade. Further, the ON/OFF operation or capacity of a fan or the number of fans to be rotated may be controlled by detecting the temp. of the ink or head in the vicinity of the liquid chamber 2 of the head. The blower 5 may be provided at a position effectively performing the air cooling of the ink in an ink supply pipe 5. |
