PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the position adjustment of an optical system separating plural light beams, etc., and to improve mass producibility by providing a bisected photodetector to receive plural rear side rays of light from plural semiconductor laser light sources integrally. CONSTITUTION:A bisected photodetector 19 receiving plural rear side rays of light 13a and 13b from plural light sources of plural semiconductor laser arrays 6 integrally is provided. The title device is provided with amplifying circuit means 23, 26, 28 and 29 to obtain outputs made coincident with the output of a front side light 12a of one side by two output signals detected with the bisected photodetector 19 and arithmetic circuit means 24 and 27 to detect the outputs of individual front side lights 12a and 12b based on two output signals detected by the bisected photodetector 19. By operating the light output signals, the outputs of the front side rays of light 12a and 12b of plural semiconductor laser light sources are individually detected. Thus, the positioning stage of a converging lens inside a narrow package can be avoided, and the mass producibility can be improved. |
