The device measures the density of electric current in liquid conductors. It includes a toroidal probe 1 which provides the useful signal. A resonance amplifier 2 shapes the voltage from the measuring probe. An ideal rectifier converts the signal into a DC voltage. Finally, this DC voltage is sent to the user by means of the digital display circuit 4. A long-life battery powers the system. Application in the mechanical and electronic engineering industries using the electrolytic deposition of gold, silver, cadmium, tin or copper. <IMAGE>
