A stabilizer device for trailers 12, which comprises a chassis 17,18, which is supported above the ground by at least one pair of wheels or a bogie wheel set having such weight distribution that the trailer normally has a tendency to tilt in the direction of the front end of the chassis. This end is normally supported by a tow hook 21 of a towing vehicle 11 or by a supporting wheel 22 which can be lowered from the chassis. The front part of the chassis 17,18 is provided with upwardly directed fastening members 14 for a wind stabilizer surface 13 which is widened in the horizontal plane. This is inclined in such a way relative to normal wind force at speed that the surface generates a downwardly directed force component which acts via the fastening members upon the front part of the chassis. <IMAGE> |
