<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a room dehumidifier which is simple in constitution and is easy to handle by constituting a stopping flange at the bottom of an absorbent receptacle on the supplying flange of a water collector and making it possible to life the receptacle from the water collector by the rim flange at the top end of the absorbent receptacle. CONSTITUTION: The top end of the water collector 1 opened at the top end is provided with the stopping flange 13 and is provided with the recessed stopping flange 7. The bottom end of the absorbent receptacle 5 housing a water absorbing filler 3, such as calcium chloride, is provided with a supporting flange 8. The supporting flange 8 is so set as to be placed on the stopping flange 7. The distance between a rim 15 disposed at the opened top end of the receptacle 5 the supporting flange 8 is made larger than the distance between the stopping flanges 13 and 7 of the water collector. The waste water generated by that the filler 3 absorbs the moisture in the air is collected through the discharge opening 4 at the bottom 6 of the receptacle 5 into the water collector 1. At the time of exchanging the filler 3, the receptacle 5 is lifted by the rim 15 and is removed from the water collector 1. The water is then discharged.</p> |
