PURPOSE:To obtain the subject heat insulating material without deteriorating physical properties, such as compressive strength, of foams and causing destruction of ozonosphere by mixing an organic polyisocyanate with a foam stabilizer, catalyst, specific foaming agent and specific polyether polyol and expanding the resultant mixture. CONSTITUTION:An expanded heat insulating material, such as rigid polyurethane foam, utilized in refrigerators or freezing chambers, etc., and obtained by mixing an organic polyisocyanate with a foam stabilizer, catalyst, foaming agent consisting of dichlorotrifluoroethane and polyether polyol using o-tolylenediamine as an initiator as a polyol component and expanding the resultant mixture. |
