BASE FABRIC FOR PARAGLIDER

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the title lightweight base fabric of high tear strength with low water absorptivity, surface smoothness, weatherability and dyeability by pretreatment of a cloth comprising a cation-dyeable polyester fiber with a specific polysiloxane resin followed by coating with a polyurethane resin. CONSTITUTION:A cloth comprising a cation-dyeable polyester fiber is pretreated with a both-terminated polysiloxane resin followed by coating with a polyurethane resin or polysiloxane-modified polyurethane resin. Said polysiloxane- modified polyurethane resin can be prepared by reaction between a polysiloxane with both the ends substituted by hydroxyl groups (pref. straight chain polysiloxane 500-5000 in molecular weight) and a combination of polytetramethylene ether glycol with organic diisocyanate.
