摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the resolution by providing electromagnetic inducing conductors for coordinate input to a liquid crystal display consisting of two layers of a birefringent liquid crystal display plate and a color compensating liquid crystal plate for compensating coloring due to birefringence additionally to the color compensating liquid crystal plate. CONSTITUTION:One one surface sides of glass substrates 1 and 3, conductors 2 and 4 are formed by patterning a vapor-deposited film consisting of three layers of Cr (1,000Angstrom ), Cu (3,000Angstrom ), and Cr (1,000Angstrom ) in a numerous-line shape with use of etching method using photoresist. The conductors 2 on the glass substrate 1 are arrayed crossing the conductors 4 on the glass substrate 3 at right angles, an orienting film 9 and liquid crystal 13 for color compensation are provided on the opposite surface sides of the substrates 1 and 2, and the conductors 2 and 4 are used for input coordinate detection. Further, a color filter 10, a transparent electrode 6, and the orienting film 9 are formed on the glass substrate 5 and a transparent electrode 8 and the orienting film 9 are formed on the glass substrate 7; and those surfaces are provided opposite each other, and liquid crystal 14 is charged and driven by the transparent electrodes 6 and 8.</p>
