PURPOSE:To provide an electrophotographic apparatus having high operability and universality by providing an exposure optical system for introducing an image to a photosensitive unit with an input side disposed over the suitable length of a main scanning direction at part of the sub scanning direction of the screen of a display unit, and detachably providing an image processor, the optical system and a controller to the display unit. CONSTITUTION:An image processor 100 and an exposure optical system are provided in an apparatus body 20, and mounted on the top of a display unit 1 having a CRT 1a. In the optical system, one end of an optical fiber cable 2 is disposed oppositely to a section A over the whole width of a main scanning direction at the top end of the screen of the CRT 1a, a lens eye 3 is disposed at the other end, and the image of the section A is exposed to the surface of a photosensitive drum 4 through the eye 3. A controller 50a of the control system generates the output data of a microcomputer 60 as a video signal, the CRT 1a receives it and displays it on the screen. A controller 50b writes the output data of the microcomputer 60 in a VRAM 40, and reads it when it is displayed on the screen of the CRT 1a and printed, and applies a control signal to the processor 100. |
