PURPOSE:To speed up processing for rectangular movement by accessing a frame memory in both X and Y directions by the bit width (n) of a boundary at the same time and shifting data of Y-directional (n)-bit width by a data register at the same time. CONSTITUTION:When two (n)-word (2XnXn bits since each word consists of (n) bits) data which have successive address positions in an X direction are stored in the data register 16, a sequence control part 14 operates a shift control part 15. The shift control part 15 controls the data register 16 so as to shift the data by the difference between bit selection information on a source and bit selection information on a destination after the shifting operation. The sequence control part 14 writes the data in bits indicated with the X coordinates and Y coordinate of the destination address of a frame memory 17 from the data register 16. Similarly, bit map drawing in (n)-word (nXn bits) units of the frame memory 17 is carried out. Consequently, the processing wherein the drawing is performed by moving the rectangle of the frame memory is speeded up. |
