PURPOSE:To prolong service life of a sealant and to improve the production efficiency by supporting a seal belt by rolls installed at a distance on a cobble guard and pushing the belt onto the peripheral surface of a rolling roll to rotate the belt and to seal a roll coolant. CONSTITUTION:A seal belt 9 is supported to be freely rotatable by supporting rolls 8, 8 installed at a distance on a cobble guard 6. The seal belt 9 is pushed onto the peripheral surface of the roll 2 to seal a roll coolant with the belt 9 rotating. Foreign matter adhered on the belt 9 drops to separate from the belt 9 during the sealing face of the belt 9 is positioned downward. Service life of the sealant 9 is prolonged because of use of the belt-shaped sealant 9. |
