PURPOSE:To obtain a composite sheet containing a base fabric, consisting of a textile fabric and having the surface covered with randomly aggregated, entangled and integrated short fiber groups, containing a specific amount of carbon fibers and separated into a short fibrous shape. CONSTITUTION:A composite sheet, economically obtained by dispersing short fibers consisting of, e.g., polyester, and carbon fibers in a dispersion medium, such as water, feeding the resultant dispersion onto the surface of a textile fabric consisting of warp yarns 1 and weft yarns 2, subjecting the fabric to jetting treatment with a pressurized liquid stream, drying the fabric, etc., and having one or both surfaces covered with randomly aggregated short fibers 3, 4 and 5 containing 0.05-30%, preferably 0.5-20% carbon fibers 6 and 7, separated into a fibrous shape and the above-mentioned fabric entangled and integrated with the short fibers without scattering the short fibers and suitable as electrically conductive sheets, dustproofing clothes, etc. |
