<p>PURPOSE:To realize the front-back control of a pedal by moving front and back a pedal pad to set at a proper position in accordance with the hight of an operator and keeping the stepping force of the pad via a tension spring. CONSTITUTION:The position of a pedal pad 22 is adjusted when a pedal arm 18 is moved toward an operator (right). When a screw nut 19 is moved via a motor, a pin 17 moves along an arc-shaped hole 6b. At the same time, a pin 8 is pushed down along an arc-shaped hole 7 of a lever 3. Then a link 9 turns clockwise around the shaft 12 of a sublever 11. In this case, the distance DS between the shaft 2 and the pin 8 varies in proportion to the distance DL between the shaft 2 and the pad 22. While a tension spring 15 which works at the shift of the pin 8 holds the lever 3 and the weight loaded to the lever 3 to keep the lever at a fixed position. Thus the spring 15 eliminates the load of a return spring 4 and keeps the spring force of the arm 18 at a fixed level. When the pad 22 is treadled, the lever 3 turns around the shaft 2 together with the arm 18. Thus a control lever 13 is moved to the left.</p> |
