<p>PURPOSE:To improve the measurement accuracy of the time information and the measurement limit of the minimum time of a timer by using a saving register which receives the clocking data latched by a capture register and then latches the data in an optionally readable way. CONSTITUTION:The clocking data outputted from a clocking means are latched by the capture registers 11 and 12 based on the change of an event pulse. These latched clocking data are optionally read out and stored in a saving register 21. In this case, the latching timing of the data set to the register 21 is controlled in response to the change of the event pulse. At the same time, the registers 11 and 12 which are allocated in response to the event pulses of different series latch the clocking data received from the clocking means independently of each other based on the change of each event pulse.</p> |
