摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To equalize the efficiencies of filling intake between both banks of cylinders by extending approximately vertically upward independent intake paths communicating to respective cylinders in the proximity of the cylinders, while disposing an aggregate intake path corresponding to one bank above the independent intake paths corresponding to the other bank. CONSTITUTION:Independent intake paths 20a, 20b communicating to respective cylinders between both banks 1a, 1b extend approximately vertically upward from the respective cylinders 4a-4f, and an aggregate intake path 21b connected to an independent intake path 20b of the cylinder of the bank 1b is disposed above the bank 1b and an aggregate intake path 21a connected to the independent intake path 20a of cylinder of the bank 1a is disposed on the upper side of the independent intake path 20b of cylinder of the bank 1b. As a result, even though the lengths of both independent intake paths 20a, 20b are set to be long and both aggregate intake paths 21a, 21b are disposed offset to the bank 1b side, the height of the path 21a can be lessened and the degrees of bending the paths 20a, 20b of both banks are substantially equalized to each other and lessened to equalize the efficiencies of filling intake between cylinders of both banks.</p>
