Arm-guard ammunition transport vehicle

The self-propelled armoured vehicle for the transport of ammunition and personnel has a power-driven hoist for the former and a conveyor delivering through a wall opening, which can be shut, into a separate arms carrier, also rooms for its operation and for the transport of a spare crew. The ammunition storage chamber (1) is contained entirely in the lower part of the vehicle between the running gear and midway along it in the lengthwise direction (6).Above it there travels in this direction and in the transverse one (7) a hoist (8) for the ammunition inside the vehicle, which also contains a transporter (12) sliding parallel to its lengthwise axis.To give full armour protection when transferring rounds outside the vehicle, the transporter is enclosed in a tube protruding from the front of the latter. Controllers for the hoist and transporter allow extraction of the rounds in any desired sequence
