发明名称 HOME POSITION DETECTION MECHANISM
摘要 PURPOSE:To make possible the maintenance of a specified position constantly, if a change in the position of a carrier through printing density manipulation occurs, in addition to the feasibility of reaching a home position without adjustment by providing a construction in which a switch is installed on a moving carrier unit side. CONSTITUTION:In this mechanism, a switch 4 is built in a carrier 3 for position detection, and a kicker 5 hits a left side frame 1 which is a start position, activating the switch 4 through the sliding action of the kicker which in turn, presses a lever 9. A return spring 6 moves the kicker 5 forward and backward. Since this construction contains the switch 4 and an operation lever 9 in the same place, the action to make appropriate positioning or adjust a position for an activation point is unnecessary. In addition, as to printing density manipulation, a home position remains unchanged because the switch and the operation lever are interlocked. Therefore, the first printing position does not change irregularly and improved character alignment and printing quality every time the power is turned ON is ensured.
