PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic head easily manufactured and with a low price and suitable for recording with high density by performing the glass joint of a reverse L-shape soft magnetic core and a magnetic core for magnetic reflux integrally so as to form one magnetic path by a soft magnetic back core interposing nonmagnetic ceramic in its center, and forming the magnetic head with structure of two tracks. CONSTITUTION:The shape of the soft magnetic core 3 which forms the magnetic circuit of a main magnetic pole 1 is formed in such a way that a part being brought into contact with a nonmagnetic slider 2 made of ceramic is formed in shape protruding in reverse L-shape where a tapered part is provided so as to enable the main magnetic pole 1 forming the two tracks to approach. In two main magnetic pole excitation type single magnetic pole magnetic heads, the magnetic circuit comprises a closed circuit magnetically by the soft magnetic back core 6 except for the main magnetic pole part 1. On those two magnetic heads, glass sticking is applied integrally by the nonmagnetic slider 2 on which the main magnetic pole 1 is mounted and a nonmagnetic block to connect the back core 6, and winding is applied on the reverse L-shape soft magnetic cores 3, respectively. In such a way, it is possible to obtain a main magnetic pole excitation type magnetic head for two track perpendicular magnetic recording with easily manufactured and with the low price and suitable for the magnetic recording with high density. |
