PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic disk with structure in which a data signal receives no influence of the signal magnetic field of a lower layer part by applying magnetic orientation on each layer of a disk with double layer structure in different directions. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic disk in which magnetic materials 3 and 2 consisting of the lower layer parts and upper layer parts are provided with uniaxial magnetic anisotropy and the directions of magnetic anisotropy of the lower layer and the upper layer are oriented so as to be intersected orthogonally is used, and also, the lower layer and the upper layer are magnetized in the orientation direction of a magnetic field, respectively. In other words, the uniaxial magnetic anisotropy of the lower layer and the upper layer is intersected orthogonally and also, the gaps 7 and 8 of a magnetic converter are provided in respective direction, therefore, for example, since the direction of the magnetic field of the lower layer is intersected orthogonally to the gaps 7 and 8 of a head for the upper layer, the head of the upper layer detects no signal of the lower layer. Also, since the direction of the magnetic field of the lower layer is intersected orthogonally to that of the magnetization of a data bit, no peak shift of the data bit by the magnetic field of the lower layer is generated. In such a way, it is possible to obtain the disk with the double layer structure without generating interference with a servo signal. |
