<p>This invention relates to the immobilization of reagents to a fused porous polymer support and the use of this support in performing heterogeneous assays of components of human and animal fluids and tissues. In particular, this immobilization refers to covalent reactions of the solid support to reagents where these reagents include but are not limited to enzymes, antibodies, and antigens. Novel and facile methods for effecting protein attachment to the support are disclosed.</p> |
