PURPOSE:To make it possible to exhibit performance which is stable for a long period without liquid leakage by using a polarizable electrode made from carbon of specific surface area bearing alkaline ion conductive polymer having multifunctional crosslinked-polyether molecule structure. CONSTITUTION:A unit cell 1 consists of a pair of dielectrics 2 and 3 arranged at the outside, a pair of polarizable electrodes 4 and 5 arranged inside the dielectrics 2 and 3, and a separator 6 arranged between the polarizable electrodes 4 and 5. The polarizable electrodes 4 and 5 are formed of carbon of high specific surface area, polymer and alkaline metallic salt. That is, carbon being a polarizable electrode is made to bear polymer being solid electrolyte. For carbon, the specific surface area is 500-1400m<2>/g. Also, alkaline metallic salt becomes alkaline metallic ion conductive solid electrolyte by forming solid solution with polymer. |
