The invention relates to a process for the production of a certain deformation of crosslinked plastics, in particular polyethylene, more precisely LDPE, MDPE, LLDPE and HDPE; polymethacrylate (PMMA); polyvinyl chloride (PVC); polyvinyl acetate (PVA) and ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), in which the production of a first shaping (A) and subsequent crosslinking is followed, at temperatures above the crystallite melting point of the particular substance, by a second shaping (B) which is in a specified ratio to the first shaping (B = A + DELTA A), and the plastic product, in order to achieve a deformation which, in its proportions, is between the first and second shapings, is subjected to partial heat treatment at certain points. The crosslinking which follows the shaping process is carried out by chemical or physical means, and the second shaping is produced by reducing the first shaping by at least 10% but preferably 20%. |
