PURPOSE:To possible decrease operation inhibiting condition and to improve operability by setting a specification mode, provided that a detected abnormality is not related to the processing of a process executing part, and controlling each process executing part. CONSTITUTION:An electric control system is mainly constituted of a main control part 400, followed by storage part 410, optical control part 420, AC control part 430, operation control part 440, automatically recycling document feeder (RDH) control part 450, finisher control part 460, etc. Even when an inhibiting mode is set, the system automatically coaps with it so that a candidate mode is set (for example, a stable mode is released); when an abnormality which does not affect copying process arises, it performs printing by setting modes other than the mode using it. Thus, possibility that printing fails becomes extremely slim. This improves efficiency in clerical work and the operability of the device. |
