PURPOSE:To obtain a whey-containing food capable of satisfying flavor, texture, taste, etc., by addition of water and heating by making a mixture of wheat flour and concentrated whey or a blend of the mixture and other foods into an aqueous material, forming and the aqueous material and then drying. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous material of the above-mentioned mixture of blend is shaped, heat-treated and then frozen or treated at high temperature to give a whey-containing food. Or a mixture of wheat flour and concentrated whey is processed into powder or aqueous material and then sprinkled or applied to the surface of other food. Then the sprinkled or applied food is heat-treated and then frozen or treated at high temperature. Consequently, a wheat flour aqueous food having excellent flavor, texture, taste, etc., even by freezing and high-temperature treatment is obtained. The food is incorporated with boiled rice, noodles, bread, etc., to give a new complex food. |
