<p>PURPOSE:To realize the front-back adjustment of a pedal by moving front and back a pedal pad to set it at a proper position, moving a pedal arm in parallel to keep the pad at the fixed height, and keeping the lever ratio of the pedal arm at a fixed level via a control lever. CONSTITUTION:The position of a pedal pad 22 is adjusted when a pedal arm 18 is moved toward an operator (right). When a screw nut 19 moves via a motor, a pin 17 moves along an arc-shaped hole 6b of a control lever 6. Thus a pin 8 is pushed along an arc-shaped hole 7 of a lever 3. At the same time, a link 9 turns clockwise around an axis 12 of a sublever 11. In such a case, the distance DS between an axis 2 and the pin 8 varies in proportion to the distance DL between the axis 2 and the pad 22. A tension spring 15 functions to keep the lever 3 at a fixed position. Then the pad 22 is treadled after adjustment of its position. Thus the lever 3 turns around the axis 2 together with the arm 18, and a control lever 13 is moved to the left.</p> |
