PURPOSE:To execute a display at a high speed and simultaneously, with a good reproducibility by using plural electromagnets arranged in a matrix as a printing head and drawing arbitrary character and graphic with the selective excitations of the magnets onto a magnetic display carrier. CONSTITUTION:A printing head H is composed of (jXk)-number of electromagnets M arranged in j-rows and k-columns, respective terminals 6 are connected to a voltage impressing means, a voltage V is selectively supplied to the necessary terminal, and a terminal 7 is commonly connected to a common terminal E. In such a case, the combination of the electromagnets M is selected by a proper program means in corresponding to the character and graphic to be drawn, and by impressing the voltage to the selected electromagnets simultaneously, the character and graphic are displayed on a magnetic display sheet 1, and when the impression of the voltage is stopped, the magnetized condition of the electromagnets is demagnetized, and a display condition on the other sheet can beheld also by the relative movement of the sheet 1 and head H. Thus, the display can be executed at a high speed and simultaneously, with a good reproducibility. |
