REVERSE REFLECTION MARKING SHEET OF PAVEMENT

PURPOSE: To enhance wear resistance and reflectivity of a pavement-marking sheet by applying a liquid bond layer to the sides of a plurality of protrusions provided on the surface of a resilient polymeric base sheet, and embedding light-reflecting beads therein. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of protrusions 104 are provided on the surface of a resilient polymeric base sheet 100, and a liquid bead bonded layer 122 is formed on the side surface 108 of each protrusion 104. Retroreflective beads 120 are embedded in the bead bonded layer 122. Skid preventing particles 124 are embedded the end of each protrusion 104. Therefore, the wear of the retroreflective beads 120 are avoided, and reflectivity for light beams from a vehicle headlight which are projected from a diagonally upward direction is improved.
