Phenoxyalkyl-substituted heteroaromatics of the general formulae Ia and Ib (* CHEMICAL STRUCTURE *) (Ia) (* CHEMICAL STRUCTURE *) (Ib) where A is an unsubstituted or substituted heteroaromatic radical having 6 5 ring members and 1, 2 or 3 nitrogen atoms in the ring, R1 is hydrogen, halogen or C1-C3-alkyl. R2 is hydrogen or C1-C4-alkyl. Qa is an unsubstituted or substituted azole radical and Qb is a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaromatic radical which has a five-membered ring, and their use for combating pests.
