The mass and force meter of the invention with elastic reduction of the input force and a transversely oscillating string (12) is remarkable in that the securing heads (10, 11) between which the string (12) is stressed move only parallel to each other under load. This is attained by fixing the securing heads (10, 11) by means of two supports approximately in the middle of one of the leaf springs (4, 5) of one of the pairs of leaf springs (2, 3; 4, 5), where, for example, one support (17) is straight and the other (18) is offset. Thus the absolute flexibilities of the suppports (17, 18) and their ratio are variable and adjustable over a wide range. |
