The invention relates to a rotary closure cap with a tamper-indicating safeguard. In this rotary closure cap, the tamper-indicating securing ring is produced separately and, produced in different signalling colours, can be fitted onto the rotary closure cap. Arranged on the tamper-indicating securing ring is a conspicuous signalling strip which is wrapped over the rotary closure cap, the end of the signalling strip being inserted in a cutout through the rotary closure cap into the signalling ring located at the bottom and being clamped firmly and non-releasably. When the rotary closure cap is unscrewed, the signalling strip is sheared off and remains standing upright above the closure for recognition of the violated container closure.
