A fastener for attaching a moulding strip 12 to a support 14 is formed from a synthetic plastics material and comprises a rectangular head portion 28 having a shank 30 of oval or elliptical shape in cross-section which is inserted into an oval-shaped aperture 26 in the support, the fastener then being turned to the positon shown in Fig. 1 whereby the wall of the shank makes a biting engagement with the wall of the aperture. The moulding 12 is clipped on to the fastener to engage the undercut portions 36 and 38. To aid rotation of the fastener, bearing surfaces 44, 46 are formed on the underside of the head 28 and also a seal 40 is provided. |
