INDUCTION HARDENING SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a high quality hardened material with high productivity by finely distributing carbide in a material to be hardened by controlled forced cooling in a rolling stage and by induction-hardening the material under conditions decided according to the basic characteristics of the material due to the hardenability index. CONSTITUTION:When a rolled material to be hardened is induction-hardened, carbide in the material is finely distributed by controlled forced cooling in the rolling stage to form a uniform structure. The hardening conditions are set by inputted the chemical or physical basic characteristics of the material due to at least the hardenability index as well as hardening targets such as the hardening position and hardening depth into an arithmetic unit. A high quality hardened material free from strain is obtd. with high productivity without carrying out heat refining treatment.
