摘要 PURPOSE:To increase the degree of design freedom for toe angle change characteristics by providing upper and lower arms and a swing arm for connecting a wheel support member and a body to each other and causing the deviation of an oscillation axial line at the body side of the swing arm toward the predetermined direction. CONSTITUTION:A wheel carrier 21 in a rear suspension 20 so supports a rear wheel 2 as to be freely rotatable via the spindle 21a thereof. Also, an upper arm 22 and a lower arm 23 connect respectively the wheel carrier 21 to a body and so support each of upper and lower ends of the wheel carrier 21 as to be capable of vertical oscillation. Furthermore, a swing arm 24 similarly connects the body and the wheel carrier 21 to each other, and the one side end 24a thereof is connected to the predetermined position of the body, while other side ends 24b and 24c to the wheel carrier 21 at two positions along the lengthwise direction of a vehicle. In addition, the oscillation axial line l1 of the aforesaid one side end 24a is made to deviate fore and aft with a line n2 orthogonal with a line n1 passing through the center of the rear wheel 2.
