PURPOSE:To make a mirror device equipped with an electric exothermic body to remove water droplets attached on the mirror face capable of removing water droplets automatically by forming a rain detective means which is made capable of controlling electric current so that it is supplied to the electric exothermic body when rain is detected. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 2 that controls supply of current to a mirror heater 1 by the output signal of a rain detection means 3 is formed to a mirror device such as the door mirror of a vehicle where water droplets attached on the mirror face are vaporized by supplying electric current to the mirror heater 1 mounted near the mirror face. Although the rain detection means 3 is formed as a water droplet detection means that detects the water droplets attached on the window glass of the relative vehicle, it may be formed to detect the working condition of a front wiper. Thus, the water droplets attached on the mirror face can be removed automatically without need to carry out any troublesome switching operation. |
