PURPOSE:To obtain a heat insulating layer having proper heat insulating effect and hard to generate heat accumulation by forming a polyimide heat insulating layer to the surface of a substrate and successively laminating a heating resistor due to a resistance film, the first and second electrodes supplying a current to said heating resistor and a protective layer for protecting a surface thereon. CONSTITUTION:The heat generated in a heating part 3a generates the color development of thermal paper or melts the ink of an ink ribbon through an oxidation-resistant film 5 and an abrasion-resistant film 6 to transfer ink to paper but a part of the heat generated in a heat generation part 3a at this time is transmitted to a substrate 1 through an inorg. material layer 8 and a polyimide layer 7 to be diffused to the outside. Herein, the surface of the substrate 1 is made uniform because of the presence of the polyimide layer 7. It is unnecessary to provide the inorg. material layer 8 necessarily and a heating resistor 3 may be directly formed to the surface of the polyimide layer 7. Further, by setting the thickness of the polyimide layer 7 to an arbitrary thickness corresponding to the quantity of heat necessary to escape to the outside, a heat insulating layer having proper heat insulating effect can be obtained. |
