PURPOSE:To obtain the high sensitivity and the excellent preservable property of the title material by incorporating a specified symmetric pigment and a specified asymmetric pigment in the photosensitive material, respectively. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of the symmetric pigment shown by formula I and at least one kind of the asymmetric pigment shown by formula II are incorporated in the photosensitive material, respectively. In the formula, R1 and R2 are each alkyl or alkoxyalkyl group, etc., A1 and A2 are each hydrogen or halogen atom, etc., X1<-> is an anion, (m) is 1 or 2, B1-B4 are each hydrogen or halogen atom, etc., R3 and R4 are each alkyl or alkoxyalkyl group, etc., X2<-> is an anion, (n) is 1 or 2. The sensitizing pigment shown by formulas I and II are incorporated in the photosensitive material in an amount of 1X10<-6>-2.5X10<-2> mol. per 1 mol. of a silver halide, respectively. The ratio of the application amount of both sensitizing pigment is a range of 0.1-10 mol. of the sensitizing pigment shown by formula II per one mol. of the sensitizing pigment shown by formula I. Thus, the high sensitivity and the excellent preservable property of the photosensitive material are obtd. |
